As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced Welder B to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry who can provide a superb customer experience.

Position Overview:

This position reports to the Supervisor of the department. The incumbent ensures that the product is welded to process, quality & required efficiency levels.

What you will be doing:

• Performs the running of the equipment set up by others or by themself
• Performs required quality checks to ensure the product is in compliance and in the specification
• Notifies Group Leader and/or Supervisor(s) of product defects or other serious occurrences
• Documents and records all necessary information/data as per work cards and other company requirements
• Performs equipment operational checks
• Performs proper housekeeping, clean-up and 5 S requirements
• Performs all duties according to safety standards and company policies
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

What you bring along:

• Min. grade 12 or equivalent education
• Able to weld all B-category test welds
• 2+ years of MIG welding experience
• Able to set up and maintain own equipment
• Good mathematical skills
• Able to repair weld
• TIG & stainless steel experience is an asset
• Pressure vessel MIG welding would be an asset
• Computer literate
• Blueprint reading
• Capable of finishing welding
• Fluent in English
• Conscientious and punctual
• Willing to learn
