Job Description
We are seeking a welder to become an integral part of our growing team!
The position we are looking to fill is on our road crew and the work is based in the HRM area.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Work with a supervisor or lead hand to install, weld, fit, and erect various metal structures and miscellaneous metal installs. Use of various hand tools and equipment to modify and install miscellaneous steel. Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications. Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment. Maintain safe work practices. Other assigned work as required.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Current SMAW CWB tickets are preferred. Strong attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs. Standing for long periods of times- bending, kneeling, etc. Ability to work well within a team and with minimal supervision.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
