  • Monitor the fitness centre and track area to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all users
  • Maintain and clean fitness equipment and running track
  • Assist with program set-up, equipment inventory and assorted project related tasks
  • Assist in other customer services as required, such as conducting fitness centre and facility tours
  • Assist the Wellness Specialists, Personal Trainers and Active for Life Coordinator
You Bring:
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Current Standard First Aid - Level C CPR and AED (copy must be submitted with application)
  • Previous experience working in a customer service related position is considered an asset
  • Ability to adapt well in an ever changing environment
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned daily tasks
  • Ability to problem solve and confidently ensure that rules and guidelines for the weight room and facility are being followed

Monthly schedules will be set based on your availability and operational needs.Successful candidate must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and will be required to occasionally lift (up to 110 pounds), bend, push, pull and kneel to manage the manual labor component of the positionSuccessful candidate must commit to at least two shifts per month to maintain the position.Next Steps:Candidates are invited to apply online.Postings close at 9 p.m. on the closing date listed in the posting.
