Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Weigh Scale Operation including all sizes and capacity of Industrial/commercial scales. This role is for the installation, maintenance and calibration of all weigh scale equipment. Must have clean drivers abstract with class 3 being preferred. Applicant must be capable and willing to maintaining high standards along with ethics.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles required for testing of client equipment. Self govern and be able to work alone. Installing, calibrating, testing and maintain weigh scales. Inspect and verify the accuracy of tested equipment. Diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical scales. Perform prevenative maintenance and keep detailed records of test results. Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations regarding scale approval. Participate in a continuous effort to improvement while striving for safety. Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements

Previous Weigh Scale experience is preferred. Drivers abstract must be clean and free of infractions. Must be reliable, trustworthy and respectable. Strong attention to detail with excellent understanding and communication. Basic math skills and problem solving. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to teamwork. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
