RAPS is Seeking a Alternating Weekend caregiver (E100)

Location: East Edmonton (Forest Heights)

Days: Alternating Friday 7pm-Sunday 7pm 48 hour continuous shift

: Duties include but are not limited to: Provide all aspects of daily care, Transfers using a Hoyer Lift (from bed to chair)

Personal care including bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, etc.

Bowel routine 3x/week (suppositories, digital stimulation, etc.)

Catheter care

Medication administration

Meal preparation and feeding assistance

Light housekeeping and laundry

Completing errands such as grocery shopping

Providing transportation to and from work/outings

Support on outings

Overnight care (night turnings, general assistance if necessary)

Note: There is a Dog in the home

Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have a recent criminal record check including vulnerable sector check ,a driver's license, and vehicle. Previous experience and education in the health care field is considered an asset.

Rate of Pay: $250 a day
