Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks. Conduct custodial duties such as restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies. Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts. Assist in heavy lifting of equipment or materials when required. Maintain equipment used for cleaning and report any issues to the supervisor. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure all cleaning standards are met. Participate in facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and coworkers. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cleaning duties. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in cleaning and maintenance is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good communication skills to work collaboratively within a team setting.
