Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. this is a hospital setting building, open 7 days a week 365 days a year.

hiring 1 fulltime cleaner for Monday - Friday 7am-3pm and 1 part time weekend cleaner for Saturday and Sunday 9am-1:30pm

starting wage is $18.00/hour for 37.5 hours a week for the fulltime. 7 hours a week on the weekends.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained. Handle commercial cleaning responsibilities in various settings including offices, restrooms, and common areas. Assist with custodial tasks that may include emptying trash receptacles, cleaning windows, and sanitizing surfaces. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when supplies need replenishing. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications

Previous janitorial or custodial experience is required. previous experience cleaning in a hospital, or senior home is required. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is an advantage. Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning settings is required Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
