The primary duty of the Animal Custodian will be to tend to the care of the animals housed at the ROAR Society Shelter including but not limited to:
Feeding, cleaning litter boxes and cages, administering medication, cleaning dog kennels, dog walking, laundry, dishes, animal transport, monitor health and welfare of animals and assist the animal manager.
Position is every other weekend, with flexibility for occasional weekday coverage if needed.
Looking for a responsible, confident and knowledgeable animal lover to help as needed with the busy summer. Perfect candidate must be 16 and older, be okay with taking instruction, working alone, comfortable working with cleaning solutions and chemicals. They must be comfortable and confident working with cats and dogs of all behaviors. They must be trustworthy, reliable and able to drive or have reliable transportation. Candidates that have previously volunteered with the ROAR society will have precedence over those without.
