Job Summary

We seek a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess the technical skills necessary to produce high-quality video content. You will work closely with our production team to edit and enhance video footage, ensuring that the final product aligns with our brand's vision and standards.

Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage into polished final products, incorporating graphics, sound, and special effects. Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements. Utilize various editing software tools to create engaging content that meets deadlines. Review and select the best takes from multiple camera angles to enhance storytelling. Implement feedback from team members and clients to refine video edits. Maintain organized project files and ensure all assets are properly archived for future use. Stay updated on industry trends and editing techniques to continuously improve skills.

Skills

Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe Illustrator is essential. Strong understanding of video editing principles, including pacing, timing, and visual storytelling. Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and composition. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and receive constructive feedback. A portfolio showcasing previous work is highly desirable.

Ideally has/is working on editing wedding films. Our clientele is mainly from the South Asian community.

Pay: $21.00-$26.25 per hour
