Technical Skills
Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (plus modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular).
Knowledge of back-end basics: PHP, Python, or Node.js
Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, Web flow, etc.).
Understanding of SEO best practices and how to implement them in site architecture.
Familiarity with web performance optimization (page speed, caching, responsive images, accessibility standards).
Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab, Azure DevOps).
Knowledge of security best practices in web development (authentication, HTTPS, input validation, OWASP guidelines)
Design & UX/UI Skills
Strong eye for visual design (layout, typography, branding consistency).
Experience with UI/UX principles (user journeys, accessibility, wireframing, usability testing).
Ability to design in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Skilled at creating responsive, mobile-first designs that adapt across devices.
Understanding of conversion-driven design (clear CTAs, landing pages, lead funnels).
Soft Skills & Qualifications
2-4+ years of professional experience in web design/development.
Ability to collaborate across teams (marketing, branding, social media).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Comfort with learning and adapting to new tools, trends, and AI-driven SEO strategies.
Nice-to-Have / Bonus
Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).
Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Hotjar, Cookies).
Knowledge of email marketing integrations (HubSpot, Mailchimp).
Motion design/animation skills (CSS animations, After Effects, Lottie).
Familiarity with CRM integrations (Salesforce, Zoho).
