About the job
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Web Services who will be responsible for overseeing the Website Development and Content Services teams within Vendasta Marketing Services division. They will be responsible for the management, growth, and success of both teams. This senior leader will have a vested interest in establishing strong relationships with managers at all levels and departments of the organization and will have the drive to keep up with market trends in their respective product areas. They will be responsible for fostering relationships in a sales capacity with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a continued growth mindset.
A successful and effective Senior Manager will have extensive experience in a leadership role and a passion for providing the highest level of customer service at all times, while also coaching the leadership reporting to them to do the same. They work tirelessly to support business objectives and drive Vendasta success metrics forward.
The impact you’ll have

  • Lead and grow a talented team of website developers, content specialists and leaders in those areas, providing mentorship and coaching to help continually grow their teams and deliver better results.
  • Improve customer service experience for channel partners and their SMB clients through improved fulfillment services to increase efficiency.
  • Take ownership of our customer concerns related to the Web and Content Services products and promptly facilitate a resolution.
  • Grow and retain the number of partners and SMBs purchasing Web and Content services month over month.
  • Work with sales teams to help bring deals across the line, by educating prospective customers on Web and Content product offerings, and creating custom quotes and proposals.
  • Train and develop a team of Web and Content leaders to become strong advocates of our services for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Measure, optimize, and adjust monthly, quarterly, and annual goals for your area of business to coincide with Vendasta and Marketing Services objectives and KPIs.
  • Hold the Web and Content Fulfillment Managers accountable for team performance and delivery times.
  • Work with Web and Content Managers to solve service escalations, including joining calls as a senior representative.
  • Facilitate the ongoing development of products and services based on market trends and customer needs.
  • Hold weekly one-on-one’s with team members and report team development to the Director and GM.
  • Comfortably manage a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment, while helping the team reach their goals such as revenue targets and retention.

The value you’ll bring
  • Proven experience in a leadership role and strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members
  • 2-3 years of experience in website services with strong, proven experience in growing technical capabilities of a web and content team
  • Able to build and grow a custom project-based web team with graphic designers, full-stack developers, Project Management, and can oversee all aspects of a web project at a technical and administrative level
  • Ability to develop and grow leaders through coaching and mentoring
  • Ability to multitask, be decisive, and remain calm under pressure
  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of management principles and familiarity with company products, services, and policies
  • Proficiency with the necessary technology (computers, software applications, phone systems, etc.)
  • Able to quickly understand and use Vendasta owned and operated products
  • Technically proficient in WP frontend, backend, SFTP, FTP, Domain management, WYSIWYG builders (Divi experience a bonus), PHP, and Java
  • Strong technical knowledge to provide project management to large scale web projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • # of Partners using web services and content services
  • # of sites set live
  • Customer retention
  • Response and resolution times for website support
  • Days to delivery for all web and content services
  • Website Revenue
  • Customer wait times
