Your role and tasks

Index is growing its team and looking for a Web Marketing Coordinator (Internship program 2024). An internship in Web Marketing at Index provides an exceptional opportunity to thoroughly learn the basics of web marketing. Our internships are full-time (40 hours per week) with a duration of 6 to 8 months, and remunerated. During this time, you will receive training while fully experiencing an environment in continual evolution. Step by step, you will put into practice the strategies that Index develops for clients of a variety of sizes in a variety of industries.

• Follow and complete Index\xe2\x80\x99s internship program which covers

• The production department, including*

• Online advertising
• SEO
• Project management
• Content creation
• Analytics
• Web
• *Note that the nature of a project dictates which components of the agency\xe2\x80\x99s production department need to be involved
• The agency\xe2\x80\x99s other departments
• Formulate original, performance-oriented strategies
• Establish and manage project schedules and budgets for each new project and maintain related documentation up to date
• Offer support to the marketing and business development departments if needed
• Assure follow-ups with clients
• Provide results-oriented reports on a regular basis
• Contribute to the company\xe2\x80\x99s research and development activities (Company\xe2\x80\x99s tools and AI platform)
• Ensure quality control (QA)
• Contribute to creativity sessions
• Get involved in team building activities

Qualifications required for this position

• Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen
• University studies in communications/marketing, or a related discipline, in progress (must be enrolled in a full-time institution for the duration of the internship, or otherwise must be able to show proof that he/she is enrolled in school full-time for after the internship)
• Bilingualism (French and English)
• Strong writing skills in both English and French
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of the Google suite

• Ability to work both independently and in a team, and to multitask several projects at once under tight deadlines

• Google Certifications, Facebook Blueprint and other certifications
• Web design skills
• Certifications or experience in other technology or web marketing fields

• Proficiency in a 3rd language (Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, or another language)
• Passion for the Web and new technologies
• Familiar with the agency ecosystem
