Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with expertise in building and maintaining e-commerce platforms. You will be responsible for creating user-friendly web applications that enhance the online shopping experience. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, as well as a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality proffesional websites using ASP.NET and TypeScript. Collaborate with team to define, design, and implement new features for our e-commerce platform and digital marketing Utilize PostgreSQL for database management and ensure data integrity across applications. Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experience across devices. Use D3.js for data visualization and reporting features within applications. Manage version control using GitHub and automate deployment processes with Jenkins. Deploy applications on AWS, ensuring scalability and performance optimization. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Requirements

Ideal candidate must be Canadian, Resident or have permit to work in Canada. Ideal candidate must be available to start work immediately. Have minimum of 2 years proven experience in web development with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in ASP.NET, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, D3.js, GitHub, Jenkins, and AWS is highly desirable. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Ability to tutor team members in areas of web development, coding and AI. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
