The Company
Our client in the medical industry is looking for a Web Content Specialist. The Web Content Specialist will be working on a 6 month contract, with opportunities for extension. This position is primarily remote with the occasional in-office meeting (at least once a month). The company is located in Markham, Ontario.
The Position
The Web Content Specialist will be working to update our client\'s website to ensure consistency across global teams. They will be working towards improving processes for backend content management.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the web content management tool (SDL Tridion, or WorldServer) to update and enhance the website
- Managing the translation process to ensure consistency and accuracy for published content in English and French
- Localize content from the global team to reflect standards of the Canadian market
- Support with the web architecture/set up
- Maintain web design guidelines, standards and best practices
- 4+ years of Content Management experience or similar
- Experience working with CMS platforms including SDL Tridion, and/or WorldServer
- Able to code in HTML/CSS
- Highly organized, and detail oriented
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), and/or AODA (Accessibilities for Ontarians with Disability Act)
- Strong problem solver
- Bilingual French is an asset
