DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




Updating of web properties that function on a custom CMS Assisting in designing and building of HTML/CSS for websites and landing pages as required Creation of various landing page content Proofing, monitoring, and debugging digital collateral, websites, and print media Providing guidance in optimizing web layout and design Managing and reporting on analytics accounts as needed Programming Creating multiple email templates, designs & ongoing development of email marketing collateral to support a retail-focused customer acquisition and retention program Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders (suppliers, customers, and employees) Ensuring compliance with licensing and advertising laws, and other statutory regulations Copywriting as required Working with a website where front-end stack is based on modern frame work such as React and Redux, Typescript, Angular Other duties as required

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES




Efficient time management including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet deadlines Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and collaboratively Proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both verbal and written Attention to detail; ability to maintain a high level of accuracy with excellent editing and proof-reading abilities A solid understanding of business and marketing principles Keen eye for graphic design

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION




A minimum of 2 years' experience in website development and programming Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript is required Diploma or degree in computer programming or web development Adobe Creative Suite knowledge (Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign) will be considered an asset, but is not required Graphic design experience Knowledge of C#, .NET Framework/Microsoft Ecosystem, ASP.NET and Web APIs will be considered an asset Content management and coordination Copywriting experience will be considered an asset but is not required Programming/development experience (application, HTML, CSS, PHP, responsive emails) will be considered an asset but is not required
