Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales professional to join our water works team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for building relationships and driving sales growth through inside and outsides sales. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service while achieving sales targets. You will play a key role in promoting our water works and electrical piping products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Duties

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and engineers and other water works purchasers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Actively engage in prospecting new clients through various channels, including networking, cold calling, media presence, and referrals. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively. Collaborate with the marketing team, to create promotional materials that resonate with target audiences. Track sales metrics and prepare reports on performance against targets to identify areas for improvement. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt strategies accordingly. Provide exceptional post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sales or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory; a strong desire to learn is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport and trust with clients. Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude; ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices is advantageous. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is desirable but not required.
