We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle freight and heavy equipment. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a safe and efficient manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License Class 3 or Class 1). Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Basic automotive repair skills to address minor mechanical issues on the road. Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to tight schedules. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Attention to detail in maintaining logs, inspections, and compliance with regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $74,156.00-$78,320.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
