Position Overview

Hamm Infrastructure is seeking an experienced and dedicated Water and Sewer Foreman to oversee field operations for water and sewer projects throughout the Edmonton area and Northern Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with substantial experience in water and sewer construction, looking to make a meaningful impact on local infrastructure and communities. Key Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise, and coordinate all field operations for water and sewer projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Manage and mentor site crews, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.

Serve as the primary on-site liaison between project management, clients, contractors, and trades.

Enforce compliance with all federal, provincial, and local safety regulations and company policies.

Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.

Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.

Prepare daily and weekly reports on project status, risks, and accomplishments

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in water and sewer infrastructure or civil construction as a foreman or similar leadership role.

Strong understanding of Canadian construction codes, safety standards, and best practices for water and sewer projects.

Demonstrated success managing water and sewer projects from start to finish.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., MS Project) and standard office applications.

Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Gold Seal, safety training) considered an asset.
