Job Description

Position Summary

This position is responsible for cleaning equipment in the wash bay.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operate a large variety of equipment to move it in and out of the wash bay. Use a pressurized water hose to wash equipment prior to maintenance work. Change soap barrels and nozzles for pressure washer as required. Keep the wash bay organized and clean of mud and debris. Clean, roll, and return wash hoses to the hangers. Inspect wash bay grates and sump levels and report any concerns. Operate support equipment such as forklift and skid steer. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency certificate. Valid Class 5 driver's license. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights.

Schedule

This position currently follows a 28-day shift rotation working 12-hour day and night shifts from 6:00 to 6:00. The shift rotation is: 3 days, 2 off, 2 nights, 3 off, 2 days, 2 off, 3 nights, 2 off, 2 days, 3 off, 2 nights, 2 off.

Location

The Estevan Mine is located approximately 12 km from the city of Estevan and 16 km from the town of Bienfait. The successful candidate will be responsible for his/her own accommodations and transportation.
