Move vehicles for Service Department between lot and shops Lot & Vehicle Cleanliness Miscellaneous Errands

Position Summary



The Service Detail/Lot Attendant:

Remove snow off vehicles and dealership entrances and walkways Move vehicles to the detail center, service shop or lot for vehicles being serviced Ensure that they are aware of everything around them when moving vehicles; protecting the vehicle, equipment, themselves, and other people around them Run miscellaneous errands for the dealership Assist in ensuring the neat appearance of the dealership (e.g., picks up litter, shovels snow off vehicles, wipes off showroom vehicles, cleans offices, windows) Assist in directing traffic for service events Perform thorough cleaning of service vehicles Inspect vehicles for any damages or issues that need attention before detailing. Maintain cleanliness of the detailing area and equipment used in the process.

The Service Detail/Lot Attendant

Has maintained a safe driving record and has a valid driver's license Must be detail-oriented, thorough, and able to work independently Must be comfortable taking directions from others Must be able to communicate with customers in a courteous manner Must be able to effectively communicate with others in the dealership Must be task-oriented and well organized Must be capable of effectively managing his or her time Must be dedicated to protecting themselves and others by working safely within the dealership and industry safety program/recommendations
