Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods within our facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling of products. Perform order picking tasks accurately, ensuring that all items are selected according to customer specifications. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within warehouse distribution. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is a plus. Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
