SUMMARY



The Warehouse Trainer is responsible for training Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supporting on-site operational Team Member training including warehouse processes such as receiving, voice picking and loading. The Warehouse Trainer uses WMS functional skills to facilitate Team Members training, including MHE training. The incumbent will have knowledge of principles in Adult Learning and how to provide practical and engaging training sessions that change desired behaviors on the job. This role is crucial for increasing accuracy and increasing productivity in warehouse and logistics environments.



Shifts Available:

Monday to Friday - Morning shift 7am-3pm and Afternoon shift 3pm-11pm



RESPONSIBILITIES



Develop and deliver training:

Create and conduct practical training sessions for both new hires and existing employees on various types of MHE equipment, WMS, and warehouse operations (receiving, voice picking, loading)

Ensure safety and compliance:

Educate employees on all safety protocols, company policies, and relevant regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Hands-on instruction:

Provide practical, hands-on training, including in class training for employees, assessing skills for equipment operation.

Continuous improvement:

Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, recommending improvements as needed.

Equipment knowledge:

Instruct staff on proper operation, maintenance checks, and capabilities of the equipment.



EXPERIENCE

At least 2-3 years' experience as a trainer or in a similar role

Minimum 3 years of operational experience with strong working knowledge of Red Prairie (Blue Yonder)

EDUCATION

High school diploma Certified MHE Operator/Forklift Operator license for Raymond Reach, Walkie and Dock Stocker

CERTIFICATIONS



Forklift Certification from a recognized training provider. One or a combination of the following equipment experience and certification - Raymond Reach, Dock Stocker, Counterbalance and/or Walkie. (MHE is site specific)
