Position: Warehouse Team Lead
Location: Mississauga
Our client in the Distribution Industry is looking for Warehouse Team Lead with effective operation management and good attention to details in their distribution site.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all warehouse operations within assigned functional area(s)
- Lead a team of up to 10 to achieve operational goals and KPI targets
- Support and implement tactical plans to improve process efficiency, order, and inventory accuracy
- Prepare and analyze operational reports for production, productivity, inventory, or expense tracking
- Comply with all Health & Safety programs to secure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property
- Fulfill all scheduled orders on time in full
- Support continuous improvement and WMS implementation
- Maintain inventory controls and processes
- Tracks warehouse supplies and highlight any risks
- Drive continuous improvement through all facets of warehouse operations and support solutions
To be successful in the role:
- Demonstrated operations leadership experience in a fast-paced production environment
- Managed at least 10 direct reports including full-time and temp preferred
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a production environment (Distribution/Manufacturing)
- WMS / ERP experience is an asset
- Solid knowledge of workplace safety standards applicable to warehouse environments (OH&S)
- Must have Forklift / MHE license required
- A positive "can do" attitude with a strong team mentality
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Able to work in the office
