to oversee the workflow at our facilities. The role is a complex one. He/She will not just be someone who supervises the work of others. A supervisor is also responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.
The ideal candidate will be a competent individual who will be able to guide and train employees. He/She will be well-versed in processes under the role's responsibility and will be results-driven and focused.
The goal is to ensure that operations are carried out productively so as to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties and/or delegated tasks
Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
Communicate information from upper management to employees and vice versa
Deliver reward and promotion based on performance
Train new employees
Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices (SOP's)
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
Other duties as required
Requirements and skills
Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
Strong organizational and time management skills

: Sun - Thu (evening shift)
Salary Range: 45k - 65k
