Job Duties:

Ensure staff compliance with proper personal protective equipment. Provide leadership for effective employee relations, communication, coaching, training, and performance evaluation. Identify and address team training needs, ensuring competency in legal, safety, and quality requirements. Conduct meetings to review and resolve warehouse, production, health and safety, and quality-related issues. Recruit, train, and maintain a motivated and quality-focused workforce. Strategically hire, assign duties, discipline, and dismiss to ensure employee effectiveness. Coordinate team activities through scheduling, assignment, and delegation of work. Supervise staff and maintain documentation for employee records, including conflict resolution and policy enforcement. Oversee team output to meet safety, quality, and production schedules, participating in benchmarking. Develop and implement performance metrics, set targets, and ensure clear goals for the team consistent with company objectives.
Requirements:

Diploma in Operations Management, Logistics, or equivalent qualification. Over 3 years of supervisory experience in Warehousing and Distributions. Certified forklift operator with a solid understanding of inventory control. Excellent interpersonal and team-focused communication skills. Proficient in verbal and written English, with computer skills in Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrates discretion and tact in handling confidential matters. Proven ability to lead, motivate, delegate, and set expectations for a successful team. Strong organizational and time management skills, adept at multitasking and prioritizing. Identifies issues and implements creative solutions strategically. Collaborates effectively with other departments to achieve company goals. Works independently and within a team, with keen attention to detail. Thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism and setting an example for others. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Working Conditions:

Permanent Full-time position (40 hours per week) - Morning Shift Work is performed 50% in office environment and 50% in warehouse facility Exposure to noise and a wet temperature varied environment when in the production area Interaction with employees, management, and the public at large Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business needs After hours availability on emergency calls Wearing of company provided Uniform and other Personal Protective Equipment is required as applicable
