Summary

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Canadian Tire Corporation. Located in the heart of our operations, this role is crucial for ensuring efficient warehouse processes and leading a dedicated team. Your contributions will directly support our mission to make life in Canada better.

Responsibilities

Manages the safe and efficient delivery, storage and placement of merchandise from the truck into the warehouse and/or onto the retail floor. Maintains quality warehouse maintenance, through daily inspections and ensuring all store audit performance requirements are met in the warehouse (e.g., clean and neat appearance). Monitors and improves the productivity of the warehouse team through strong leadership, motivation and team building. Ensures the warehouse is appropriately staffed through effective planning and scheduling and according to store budget. Plans and manages daily/weekly activities as well as seasonal changeovers and works with the team to execute them. Manages the timely pick up of all recycled products and waste. Is responsible for general maintenance of the building, as required. Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Manage inventory levels and implement effective inventory control measures. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to implement process improvements effectively. Experience with logistics and distribution is preferred. Forklift certification is an asset.
