Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our PM shift operations. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of Warehouse Associates, ensuring efficient inventory handling, accurate order fulfillment, and compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong leadership, and has a hands-on approach to problem-solving and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, staging, loading, and shipping
Lead and mentor PM shift team members, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and adherence to SOPs
Monitor forklift and equipment usage; ensure proper maintenance and safety checks are completed
Oversee inventory control processes including cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies
Ensure compliance with allergen control and food safety protocols during all warehouse operations
Review and verify shipping/receiving documentation such as BOLs, pick tickets, and packing slips
Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to improve workflow and space utilization
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse and yard environment
Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to align material flow with operational needs
Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks, safety hazards, and equipment issues
Train new hires and facilitate shift handovers to ensure continuity and performance
Enforce company policies and safety standards across all PM shift activities
Support courier pickups and fleet coordination when needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a high-volume, physical work environment
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and shipping/receiving procedures
Valid forklift certification and experience operating high reach forklifts and pallet jacks
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting BOLs, pick tickets, and layout diagrams
Familiarity with food safety standards and allergen control procedures
Experience with warehouse layout optimization and process improvement
Safety-conscious mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
