The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Procurement Director. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible to assist with and oversee shipping, receiving, storage and inventory of a wide variety of construction related materials, including pressure boundary and nuclear class Items. Individual will be required to oversee activities at multiple warehouses (Pickering and Bowmanville), as required.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




Supervise union Shipper/Receivers and oversee warehouse activities at multiple warehouse locations, as required. Determine required methods of shipment and arrange shipments; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer. Complete and/or oversee the assembly containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions Complete and/or oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances Complete and/or oversee the inspection and verification of incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods Ensure proper labelling and storage of items based on warehouse category and items storage classifications. Ensure accurate kitting of materials in a timely manner.

Complete and/or oversee unpacking, labelling and routing of goods to appropriate storage areas Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems and ensure inventory accuracy

Operate and oversee operation of forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods

Coordinate warehouse activities with all stakeholders including QA, Vendors, Project Managers, construction crews etc. Interface with suppliers, QA and Project Management to coordinate material requirements and receipt inspections

Ensure adherence to company policies/procedures

Ensure all safety rules/regulations are followed

Ensure all facilities issues are taken care of and maintained in a timely manner

Ensure proper care and control of all items at all times.

PPE Ordering & Restocking of Shelves

Ensure all TSSA and client warehouse criteria are met and manage warehouse audits as required. Manage surplus inventory as required. Ensure annual and cyclical inventory counts are completed. Other activities as required

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS




Completion of secondary school is required

Post-secondary education in related discipline is an asset (Operations, logistics, etc.) Relevant technical training or experience

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS




3+ years of experience in warehouse supervisor capacity. 5 years of experience in warehousing in an industrial construction environment, preferably in a medium to large corporation (ideally in a nuclear environment)

3 years document retention administrative experience

Experience working on projects of medium complexity

Experience with electronic document control

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS



Knowledge of QA receipt inspection process is an asset

Knowledge of materials management requirements in quality programs such as NQA-1, CSA N285 and CSA N286 is an asset

Intermediate Excel, Word and Teams skills. Forklift certificate (must be able to obtain)

Valid Ontario Driver's License

Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs

Must possess good communication skills and be a team player

Understand project management processes and document control procedures
