Job Overview

Supervisor, Warehouse Operations - Hard Rock.

Location: Lively, Ontario - Sudbury Service.

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation.

On-site or Remote: This position will be on-site in Lively, On. With periodic travel to Val Dor, Quebec.

Responsibilities
  • The position will be Responsible for managing all warehouse-related functions for the Sudbury, Ontario and Val Dor, Quebec, service branches.
  • This position will have employees reporting in to.
  • Guide Health and Safety to all employees related to Warehouse operations using.
  • Provide leadership by setting K-Success department goals, aligning with company strategy, managing employee growth, and setting standards and enforcement thereof.
  • Coaching and counselling employees as required. Apply conflict-resolution strategizes and decision-making skills as needed.
  • Maintaining parts inventory levels to meet regional customer needs and supporting sales initiatives while effectively controlling redundancy and overall inventory value.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Complete corrective actions identified during warehouse inspections.
  • Manage inventory with the CTS controller by conducting cycle counts and maintaining Canada\'s overall targets.
  • Forecast inventory values, and manage turns while driving to obtain a healthy OTD target.
  • Manage inventory concerns that may arise.
  • Coordinate and oversee stock transport schedule and liaise with transport companies.
  • Perform/oversee regular shipping and receiving duties.
  • Create, change and implement local policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Support and be committed to a strong safety culture to achieve organizational safety goals
  • Knowledge of department-specific processes is necessary. Possesses operating knowledge of the parts/components for location and building of orders to customers.
  • Ability to work within different team environments and able to adapt to change.
  • Experience in warehousing, distribution, supply chain logistics and scheduling an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with the use of company service applications (SAP, Kronos, Parts Books, MS Office)
  • Solutions-based thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain forklift operation and certification thereof.
  • Be able to lift smaller loads in a safe, ergonomically way.
