We have an immediate opening for a Shift Supervisor at our

Corner Brook, Newfoundland

Terminal.

Full-time Overnights: Sunday to Thursday 9:30pm-7am

Job Duties entail:Responsible for overseeing/addressing any safety concerns and assure compliance with all policies Able to plan, assign and supervise all work related to shipping, receiving and storing goods Assist in the training of new staff Ensure proper equipment is utilized and facilitate units for loading/unloading Ensure expectations are met to attain Reweigh & Cube goals Attend any planned meetings and respond to correspondence & voice mails within agreed timelines


What we need from you:A Willingness to Work! Dependability & a Good Attitude are key Reliable Transportation - must be living in the area Proficient in Microsoft Office, Experienced with technology (understanding of the Truck Mate system is an asset) Ability to use scanners, paperwork where required Experience operating a counterbalance forklift Responsible to watch for/address any safety concerns Strengths in Conflict Resolution, Time Management, Multi-tasking Ability to work Safely in a fast-paced team environment Safety boots/shoes Clean criminal background
