Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the shipping and receiving processes within our warehouse. As a key part of our logistics team, you will ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled with precision, accuracy, and in a timely manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Arrange for freight carrier pick ups and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Completion of waybills, obtain rate quotes and add to sales orders when required.
• Package all product in a safe, consistent, and professional manner.
• Pick orders from inventory as required.
• Receive all company shipments of inventory and non-inventory products.
• Unpack, check, and store supplies and product.
• Keep inventory organized and in an area allotted to that item number according to the warehouse bin system.
• Operate a forklift and other equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pickup and delivery when required with a 3/4 ton truck.
• Operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload several pieces of freight in a day.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Ensure safe cargo securement.
• Ensure work area is clean and organized.
• Assist in other departments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a Clean Driver's Abstract.
• Forklift Operator Certification.
• Good knowledge of company products and services.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma preferred; or one-year related experience and/or training in inventory control or warehousing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
