Position Overview - Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming goods while ensuring accuracy and safety in all warehouse procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and verify incoming goods to support daily warehouse operations Unload and inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality; input data into the Navision (Business Central) system Perform daily tasks such as order picking, inventory monitoring, and stock transfers between departments Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment Operate forklifts and pallet movers in a safe and efficient manner Adhere to all standard operating procedures in both fresh and freezer warehouse environments

Working Conditions:

Work takes place in both fresh and freezer warehouse environments Shift work is required Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Qualifications:

Minimum six (6) months of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, preferably in the food industry High school diploma or GED Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills Valid Forklift Operator Certificate (Counterbalance and Pallet Mover) Valid Class 5 Canadian Driver's License with a clean record Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications; experience with ERP systems such as Business Central is an asset Physically capable of repetitive heavy lifting (frequently up to 30 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs) Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math for inventory tracking
