As Warehouse & Production Manager your job is to manage the Warehouse and assist in manufacturing and maintaining equipment in fulfillment of external customer requirements.
Warehouse/Production Manager Duties Include and are not limited to:
- Organization of the Warehouse
- Building of water treatment systems
- Chemical ordering and inventory management
- Experienced with SOS Inventory Management System
- Shipping and receiving equipment
- Building, Maintaining and Servicing equipment. Verify equipment coming into the warehouse is functioning (i.e. pressure testing hoses, pH & chemical injection systems, testing pumps, flow switches, pH & turbidity probes, Electrical Controller function and repair/send for servicing as needed)
- Create and implement tagging system for equipment/malfunctioning gear
- Order/prepare requested site supplies/materials/tools for Technicians for pick-up as high priority
- Verify incoming and outgoing equipment coincides with the as-built and de-built documentation for the site the gear is coming from and document discrepancies observed
- Picking up and delivering parts and equipment from vendors
- Delivering parts and equipment to Technicians on Job Sites
- Complete Employee Time Sheet
- Work with Operations Manager, and Admin staff to facilitate purchasing of equipment
- Perform additional tasks that may be outside of regular work duties, as assigned
- Focus on providing solutions to issues that arise
- Seek direction and approval on matters affecting operations from Operations Manager prior to making final decisions and disclosing to Technicians

Objectives of this role
Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency -- with customer satisfaction the primary goal -- by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, equipment maintenance and repairs
Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues
Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations
Responsibilities
Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance
Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention
Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
Responsible for overseeing daily operations and plant management; including planning, integration and execution of the production schedule, manpower planning, inventory control, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and customer service.
Study the business and operational processes and determine if corrective action/improvements are required.
Troubleshoot issues as they arise and approve high-priority projects within the department.
Lead warehouse team to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity, and quality, while reducing costs. Establish and monitor continuous improvements on departmental KPIs and OKRs.
Work with Accounting to manage budgets and control costs; review weekly forecasts, capital expenditures, headcount, etc.
Oversee and approve the training of departmental employees in their assigned roles to achieve the company's standards for quality, quantity, and safety, consistent with the company's principles.
Develop and maintain positive employee relations and ensure open lines of communications with employees. Ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment; including all equipment, workstations, and devices.
Ensure the company is acting in accordance with COR and OHSA and other internal or external applicable safety regulations
Required skills and qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Plumbing experience is an asset
Proficiency with SOS and inventory management systems
Knowledge of COR
License to operate a forklift
WHMIS & Handling of Dangerous Goods experience
Ability to communicate effectively
Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees
Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
Excellent critical thinking skills and leadership qualities
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal English
