Special Event Rentals is hiring for the position of Warehouse Processing Lead. We are looking for positive and motivated individuals to join our team in a full time position.

Primary Role and Responsibilities

Checking contracts on a weekly basis to ensure items are processed in time Ensure all warehouse items are regularly process and maintained to be available and ready to rent Coordinate with Warehouse Processing Assistants and delegate tasks as needed to ensure all priorities are covered Ensure daily and weekly goals of the processing team are met Troubleshoot all issues and concerns on inventory for processing Act as liaison between Warehouse Manager and processing team Operate forklift as needed

Processing

Coordinate with the Prep team with processing items for new and existing contracts Ensure accuracy, proper packaging, documentation, and quality of inventory items Create, monitor and close Internal Repair Orders as needed Work with Warehouse Prep Lead in the completion of contracts with tight flip timelines

Other Duties

Practice 5S+1 Principle Report/ request scheduled maintenance of cleaning equipment Ensure all returned items have been counted in before processing and putting back into storage Communicate any issues or concerns affecting the department to the Warehouse Manager Ensure all communications are responded to accordingly

Essential Skills

Attention to detail Work will with numbers and counting Speak and write English Work well with others in a team environment Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment Ability to do heavy lifting (up to 60lbs), repetitive tasks, and stand for extended periods of time
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.

Forklift experience or forklift certification is an asset.

Starting pay at $22/ hour and may be negotiable based on experience. Health and dental benefits available after completion of successful 3 month probation period.

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, and Saturdays/Sundays from 9am to 3pm on rotation.
