We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the position of

Warehouse Person (Slitter Bander)

within our

Winnipeg, MB

location. This is a full-time, permanent position that reports directly to the Operations Manager.

This position will be based out of 140 Paquin Rd. Winnipeg MB, R2J 3V4.

Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo pre-employment testing

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure safe work procedures are followed Able to handle fast paced environment Forklift and use other types of hand tools as required + Overhead Crane experience would be an asset.`
Pick and package material according to customer orders and specifications Ensure superior customer service Detail orientated Comply with workplace policies and procedures (operational, quality and health and safety)

Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent (those with experience in the industry will also be given consideration) Able to work shift work. (Both Days and Nights as required on a set schedule)*
Able to bend over to hook up loads, stand for periods of time and climb. Good knowledge of math and measurements Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory Good communication skills Good knowledge of math and measurements Self-motivated, results oriented.

MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT/PULL 50+ LBS REPEATEDLY FOR HOURS AT A TIME*

Wage: $26.71 / hour
