Key Responsibilities

Pick and prepare orders for shipment Load and unload shipments using forklifts and pallet jack Maintain organization of the warehouse and yard Perform heavy lifting (50+ lbs) daily Carry out general labor tasks as needed, including snow removal Safely operate all equipment in accordance with company policies and legislation Exercise good judgment, take initiative, and make decisions that support safe and efficient operations

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent Previous warehouse or shop experience is an asset 2+ years' experience in shipping/receiving is preferred Forklift certification considered an asset Experience with narrow aisle stand-up and counterbalance forklifts an asset Order picking experience an asset Familiarity with hand tools

Skills & Abilities

Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Self-directed, motivated, and results-oriented Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt, prioritize, and work under pressure Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities Demonstrated decision-making skills and ability to take initiative Fluent in English (written and verbal) * Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
