Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse order fulfillment, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform heavy lifting.

Duties

Load and unload shipments using various equipment Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer requests accurately. Selecting the correct items from designated locations within the warehouse based on customer orders or internal requests. Packing items securely, using various packaging materials, and preparing them for shipping or delivery. Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy. Maintain an organized warehouse environment to facilitate efficient operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders. Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials. Keep records of inventory levels, assist in stock management and perform annual cycle counts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. Proficient mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation. The ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as needed, and perform repetitive tasks. Experience with order picking processes and the use of order pickers. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Operation of a forklift. Inside Sales
