Biyork is now looking for MH Operators to join our dynamic team and rapidly growing business.As part of the Operations Team the Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily operations on the ground floor. This position will report into the Warehouse Supervisor and may be assigned to specific duties and responsibilities as outlined within this job description depending on operational needs and circumstances including the incumbent's skills and attributes. This opportunity is a great chance for those who are interested in joining a growing company with exciting career opportunities.Duties and Responsibilities: Pick, assemble, pack and process outbound orders with accuracy Receive inbound containers and goods with accuracy and inspect / record discrepancies Perform cycle counts or other inventory support functions Maintain or exceed performance metrics and expectations for assigned functions Meet or exceed daily production goals. Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation Adhere to health & safety, operations, and company policies always Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment employing 5S standards. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations. Work with other warehouse team members to effectively complete assigned tasks Proactively assist other team members with their tasks to achieve team goals Other duties as assignedRequired Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Current forklift licence (Must have) Previous experience working in a distribution, manufacturing or logistics environment preferredRequired Skills: Ability to work independently as well as within a team Capacity to work within varying facility conditions Ability to work while standing or moving for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and/or handle up to 50lbs without restrictionStrong verbal communication skillsAttention to detail Ability to meet challenges optimistically and support team members in achieving common goals Availability to work extended hours or weekends from time to time required to support customer or business needsBiyork Materials Canada is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all qualified candidates to apply.
