We are looking to welcome goods receiving co-workers in our fantastic & growing team at IKEA Lakeside, you will help us to make sure all our stock is available for our customers to shop from the moment we open.

Due to Health & Safety regulations, applicants must be over the age of 18.

Expected Starting Date: 21st October 2022

What we Offer

• 10.10 basic hourly rate,
• 2.25 night shift allowance per hour between 10pm-6am

30 hour contract over 5 days working 3 out of 4 weekends. Shifts can begin from 12am until 10am and overtime will be available.

This is a temporary contract for 6 months.

Once you pass a successful probation period the option to complete your FLT license will be available and an allowance of 1.50 per hour will be paid.

Final offers of employment are contingent upon clear results in mandatory background checks. Backgrounds checks must be completed by all successful candidates and will include medical history.

About the Position

• To assist in the stocking/merchandising of incoming truck shipments to our warehouse
• To work during the early morning dealing with stock delivery and making sure products are ready for sales.
• To make use of product knowledge and article information in performing the replenishment task
• To work with colleagues in other functions in order to drive sales growth and sustain long-term profitability
• To take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers
• Need to reduce the internal handling of damages to achieve the store profit targets
• Making sure that all empty boxes are removed, and the area is ready for customers before store opening

Job-Specific Skills

• Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about the departments within the store
• Must be able to lift heavy weight up to 25kg and bend for long periods, good written & verbal English
• Good IT skills & a customer service mindset
