Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

SUMMARY

The Warehouse Journeyman is responsible for management and maintenance of the shop, tool crib, and supplies for projects.

Hourly Rate:

$49.31 (Exclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, pension, and education and training)

JOB DUTIES

Ship and receive materials and equipment Organize materials and tools for the worksite Maintain cleanliness in the shop and tool crib Present missing/overdue tool reports to supervision Maintain equipment and tools Create requisitions for replenishing low stock Mark new equipment with marking tool Knowledge of heavy industrial service materials and tools, and their proper handling, storage and preparation for work sites Experience in equipment and tool maintenance, with some related training preferred Good knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and repair (mechanically inclined) Ensure equipment and small tools are maintained and visual and annual inspections are done as required Perform visual inspections of tools before releasing from/accepting in tool crib Various shop maintenance duties will be required

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

OSSA Regional, BSO, or CSO Computer knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and strong work ethic Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment Self-motivated Positive attitude and compliance towards safety Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
