INDUSTRIAL SECURITY GUARD

position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients. They preserve order while enforcing regulations for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the general site.

Shift:

14 days on/14 days off

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must have an Alberta Security License. Standard First Aid w. CPR & AED Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test WHMIS certification CSTS-09/CSTS 2020 H2S Alive certification 1-year Industrial Experience a MUST Ability to handle a fast paced and dynamic environment. Ensuring consistent operational procedures are executed in an orderly fashion. Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in changing environments and potential emergency situations. Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions including writing comprehensive reports.

Essential Job Functions:

Represent Backwoods with a high level of professionalism and customer service skills, as well as effective communication skills in dealing with clients, site personnel, emergency personnel, and the public. Writing detailed and accurate reports regarding all incidents Providing a high degree of customer service in a dynamic and challenging environment Ability to de-escalate situations that may arise and liaise with emergency personnel; provide support. Capability to work a rotational shift schedule. Shift times, rotation, and hours vary.
