Our team in Surrey is currently looking for a Warehouse Generalist to become an integral part of the team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough observation, auditing, recording, and reporting of inventory discrepancies across all operational areas. Assist in conducting cycle and year-end inventory counts in both showroom and warehouse settings. Collaborate with the sales team to resolve warranty return issues and address inventory discrepancies. Provide support to the sales team by investigating variances and stock outs. Ensure strict adherence to inventory control standard operating procedures (SOPs). Safely and efficiently complete daily shipping, receiving, and administrative tasks as required. Comply with all health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Monitor and address internal and external customer service concerns, escalating issues to management when necessary. Provide support for Counter Sales Representatives or warehouse associates when there is an excess of workload. Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification/Experience:

Grade 12 diploma with 1-2 years in a distribution warehouse environment, or equivalent experience. Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail for identifying and resolving customer needs. Highly reliable with an excellent attendance record, capable of working without direct supervision. Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs. unassisted and perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, walking, and bending. Forklift experience or ability to obtain forklift certification is considered an asset. Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs. Competence in using product scanning and inventory equipment. Familiarity with labels, warnings, and directions per company policies. Ability to obtain TDG and WHMIS certifications through internal training.

Additional Requirements:

Working remotely is not an option.
