Warehouse General Labourers

!

What You'll Do:

Receiving & Inventory Management:

Receive incoming shipments, inspect contents for quality and quantity, and report discrepancies.

Properly label and store materials in assigned inventory locations.

Perform inventory counts, reconciliations, and participate in audits.

Material Handling and Order Fulfillment:

Retrieve, stage, and deliver raw materials and packaging to production areas as per the daily production schedule.

Prepare and load outgoing shipments to distribution centers or customers using appropriate documentation (bills of lading, shipping manifests, etc.).

Track lot numbers and ensure accurate inventory rotation.

Equipment Operation:

Operate counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

Conduct daily pre-operation equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or hazards.

Warehouse Organization and Housekeeping:

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse in accordance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.

Ensure all materials are stored securely and in accordance with temperature, allergen, or contamination controls.

Documentation & System Use:

Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or paper logs to document transactions.

Accurately complete receiving records, inventory sheets, and shipping paperwork.

What You'll Bring

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

1-3 years of warehouse experience, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.

Forklift certification/experience.

Basic computer literacy (MS Excel, EPR/WMS systems).

Knowledge of WHMIS, HACCP, and GMP is an asset.

Strong attention to detail.

Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be available for day shifts with flexibility to adjust hours as needed to meet production demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
