SCOPE

With a great "can-do" attitude and good physical condition, you will be unloading incoming products and housekeeping, maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse area. This position works 11 am to 7:30 pm Monday through Fridays and reports to the Large Pack Afternoon Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITY

Prepare Products Prepares totes, drums, kegs, and pails for deliveries. Unloads rail tankers. Picks orders for Branches and Calgary Deliveries. Helps customer service. Assists with inventory levels. Housekeeping and Maintenance Helps maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse area, including sweeping and cleaning up any spills, removing pallets and empty drums and keeping the aisles clean and clear of any debris. Follows scheduled equipment inspections and maintenance, including daily safety checks. Reviews equipment performance and recommends repairs or replacement to Supervisor. Makes recommendations on the effective use of space within the warehouse to ensure efficient retrieval of high-demand or high-volume products. Safety Ensures that co-workers operate safely. Identifies work-place safety hazards and informs the supervisor. Performs regular safety checks. Adheres to all company policies, safety practices and initiatives. Leadership and Teamwork Works closely with employees in other departments as well as with the internal office and management teams. Assists with promoting Boss' key service deliverables. Promotes, demonstrates and reinforces Boss' 4 core values in all day-to-day actions. Assists with promoting a positive team atmosphere. Assists with training staff to ensure they have the "tools" necessary to perform their job to the best of their ability. Assists with ensuring efficient collaboration of all staff in the warehouse to achieve our desired goals and results.
