Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and a strong understanding of warehouse management systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse processes.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, and reach trucks to load and unload materials. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control. Execute order picking and packaging duties to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 for tracking inventory levels and order status. Assist in heavy lifting and moving of products throughout the warehouse as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks related to manufacturing and distribution.

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with knowledge of shipping & receiving processes. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, cranes, and order pickers. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for effective order fulfillment. Experience with packaging materials and methods to ensure product safety during transport. A background in construction or manufacturing is beneficial but not mandatory.
