Monday - Friday: 0700 - 13:30

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

To participate in the safe, accurate and timely processing of in-bound/out-bound freight to meet DHL on-time performance standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately sort & process in-bound/out-bound material.
• Unload and/or load containers, trailers, and vehicles safely, correctly and efficiently.
• Move freight within the warehouse area as per agreed safety procedures.
• Participate in the organization and clean-up of the warehouse area.
• Participate in maintaining a safe and co-operative work environment.
• Scan freight as required .
• Other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Meet company productivity targets.
• Responsible for internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Handle shipments in a manner that minimizes damage.
• Shipment processing complies 100% with Transport of Dangerous Goods requirements.
• Paperwork is 100% complete, accurate and on time.
• Follow policy and procedures as outlined by shift Supervisor.
• Maintain a secure and safe working environment for all staff.
• Comply with Collective Agreement.
• Alert operations management of any issues, or near misses immediately.

OBJECTIF G\xc3\x89N\xc3\x89RAL :
Participer au traitement s\xc3\xbbr, pr\xc3\xa9cis et rapide du fret entrant/sortant afin de respecter les normes de ponctualit\xc3\xa9 de DHL.

RESPONSABILIT\xc3\x89S :

• Trier et traiter avec pr\xc3\xa9cision le mat\xc3\xa9riel entrant/sortant.
• D\xc3\xa9charger et/ou charger les conteneurs, les remorques et les v\xc3\xa9hicules de mani\xc3\xa8re s\xc3\xbbre, correcte et efficace.
• D\xc3\xa9placer le fret dans la zone de l\'entrep\xc3\xb4t conform\xc3\xa9ment aux proc\xc3\xa9dures de s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 convenues.
• Participer \xc3\xa0 l\'organisation et au nettoyage de l\'entrep\xc3\xb4t.
• Participer au maintien d\'un environnement de travail s\xc3\xbbr et coop\xc3\xa9ratif.
• Scanner les marchandises au besoin.
• Autres t\xc3\xa2ches li\xc3\xa9es \xc3\xa0 l\'entrep\xc3\xb4t, selon les besoins.
• Atteindre les objectifs de productivit\xc3\xa9 de l\'entreprise.
• Responsable de la satisfaction des clients internes et externes
• Manipuler les exp\xc3\xa9ditions de mani\xc3\xa8re \xc3\xa0 minimiser les dommages.
• Le traitement des exp\xc3\xa9ditions est conforme \xc3\xa0 100 % aux exigences du transport des marchandises dangereuses.
• Les documents sont \xc3\xa0 100 % complets, pr\xc3\xa9cis et ponctuels.
• Suivre la politique et les proc\xc3\xa9dures d\xc3\xa9crites par le chef de quart.
• Maintenir un environnement de travail s\xc3\xbbr et s\xc3\xa9curis\xc3\xa9 pour tout le personnel.
• Respecter la convention collective.

Alerter imm\xc3\xa9diatement la direction des op\xc3\xa9rations de tout probl\xc3\xa8me ou quasi-accident.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and carry parcels, up to and including 70lbs. per piece, throughout shift.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and on time within tight time constraints.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES:

• Dipl\xc3\xb4me d\'\xc3\xa9tudes secondaires ou \xc3\xa9quivalent
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 soulever et \xc3\xa0 transporter des colis, jusqu\'\xc3\xa0 70 livres par pi\xc3\xa8ce, pendant toute la dur\xc3\xa9e du poste.
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 d\xc3\xa9montr\xc3\xa9e \xc3\xa0 travailler efficacement et \xc3\xa0 temps dans des d\xc3\xa9lais serr\xc3\xa9s.
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 av\xc3\xa9r\xc3\xa9e \xc3\xa0 travailler efficacement en \xc3\xa9quipe.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Often fatiguing or uncomfortable - hot or cold warehouse environment dependent upon season. The job might often require concentrated levels of attention and physical activity. Tension and time constraints may be an on-going aspect of the job.
