POSITION: WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE ABOUT BRIKERS We\xe2\x80\x99re fixers - we\xe2\x80\x99ve been rebuilding heavy equipment components for over 20 years. We dismantle whole equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders and rock trucks on site, rebuild the components to their original specifications, and test them on our in-house test bench. POSITION SUMMARY This position\'s responsibilities includes making crates and pallets for inventory and outbound components. Other responsibilities would include cleaning parts, paint touch ups, boxing parts/cabs, unloading and loading trucks, organizing parts and product to the proper location. Inventory control requires all inventory being received to be itemized, catalogued, and put away accurately. The Warehouse Assocaite will also be responsible for supporting the dismantle and shipping departments with other duties as needed. This position is full-time. Work hours are between Mon - Fri 7:00am - 3:30 pm. RESPONSIBILITIES: \xc2\xb7 Ship & receive products \xc2\xb7 Pressure wash parts and equipment \xc2\xb7 Inventory Control/Keep aprts and components organized in our yard and warehouse \xc2\xb7 Build pallets and crates in house \xc2\xb7 Move product between shops \xc2\xb7 Maintain Clean working area \xc2\xb7 Assist with cylinders rebuild program \xc2\xb7 General support to other employees QUALIFICATIONS: \xc2\xb7 Min 2 years warehouse/yard experience \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of trucking and logistics and working knowledge of courier shipping systems is required \xc2\xb7 Ability to work with power tools \xc2\xb7 Highschool diploma \xc2\xb7 Valid class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with clean abstract \xc2\xb7 Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to lift heavy objects repetitively \xc2\xb7 Ability to operate material handling equipment competently \xc2\xb7 Effective verbal and written skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment \xc2\xb7 Must be willing to work outside regardless of the weather \xc2\xb7 Forklift certification is mandatory \xc2\xb7 Overhead crane experience is an asset \xc2\xb7 Equipment parts experience is an asset \xc2\xb7 Operating excavators, wheel loaders, telehandlers is an asset PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is exposed to moderate to loud noise environments and will be required to operate various heavy equipment, such as forklifts.
