As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our Operations team in Langley, BC. This role is a mix of hands-on warehouse support and administrative/logistics coordination, ensuring that orders, shipments, and warehouse activities run efficiently, accurately, and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Support - Primary Responsibilities
Assist with picking, packing, and shipping orders with high accuracy.
Support receiving activities, including unloading, palletizing, and stocking products.
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full inventory counts.
Re-work inventory based on guidance of Warehouse management
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, upholding safety standards.
Logistics & Coordination - Secondary Responsibilities
Liaise with cross-functional teams (Operations, Business Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Accounting) to resolve logistical issues and ensure smooth workflows.
Coordinate with carriers for pickups, claims, and troubleshooting shipment issues.
Support 3PL (third-party logistics) orders and ensure service-level requirements are met.
Track and report on shipments, including OS&D (overages, shortages, damages).
Prepare and process shipping documentation using tools such as SAP, and carrier software.
Document and improve processes (e.g., Sweet Process) to build a strong operational knowledge base.
Skills & Abilities
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset with initiative to identify and recommend improvements.
Effective communicator with strong written and verbal English skills.
Team player who can work independently and collaboratively.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs when supporting warehouse tasks.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations.
Forklift certification (or willingness to be trained/certified).
Experience with carrier portals and shipping systems (UPS, Fedex, Canada Post, DHL, various LTL carriers) is an asset.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP experience an asset).
