. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and safety in all warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents
Sort, label, and store goods according to warehouse procedures
Retrieve and prepare customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail
Pack and label items for shipment, ensuring compliance with shipping standards
Coordinate with carriers for timely shipment dispatch
Conduct regular cycle counts and address inventory discrepancies
Identify and resolve negative on-hand inventory issues
Assign and organize items without location assignments
Load and unload customer vehicles safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
Inspect warehouse equipment daily and report maintenance needs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or related field is an asset
Previous warehouse or inventory management experience preferred
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training can be provided)
Basic computer skills for inventory and order tracking
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
Use of warehouse equipment and tools as required
