Warehouse Associate (Summer Student) - Brampton, ON

Key Accountabilities:

Fill customers' orders accurately in a timely manner (pick/pack/ship orders) Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using material handling equipment Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks and containers Receive materials; unpack, count, sort, receive in the system Count materials, wrap and stack goods, put-away, pack, unpack, sort, label...to maintain inventory accuracy Always keep warehouse in neat orderly condition Comply with all department and company policies and procedures including but not limited to safety and attendance

Qualifications:

1-2 years of Warehouse and/or production facility experience

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures Forklift license is a plus Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds

Working Environment:

Industrial plant production environment
